HCOP gives opportunities to people from economically or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds. They can develop skills to compete for, enter, and graduate from health or allied health professions schools.
Am I eligible to apply?
When funding is available, you can apply if you are*:
- An accredited school of medicine, osteopathic medicine, public health, dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, pharmacy, allied health, chiropractic, podiatric medicine
- A public or nonprofit private school that offers graduate programs in behavioral and mental health or programs for the training of physician assistants
- A public or private nonprofit health or educational entity like a community college, technical college or tribal college.
