Our virtual job fairs connect healthcare sites with job-seeking primary care trainees and practicing clinicians.

They are free online events that occur throughout the year.

We plan to host Virtual Job Fairs on the following days in 2020. These dates may change.

    Celebrating National Rural Health Day

Which Sites Can Attend:

All meetings except November: NHSC and Nurse Corps-approved clinical facilities with a HPSA score of 14 and above

November meeting: NHSC and Nurse Corps-approved clinical facilities located in rural areas

Medical, Nursing, Dental, Mental/Behavioral Health

Who should attend?

We invite medical, nursing, dental, and mental/behavioral health clinicians and trainees to attend, and learn about hundreds of opportunities.

What should you do in advance?

Complete a clinician profile on the Health Workforce Connector. That way, interested sites can follow-up with you after the event.

What happens during a Virtual Job Fair?

We give site representatives about 15 minutes to present inside a “virtual breakout room.” There, the participating sites discuss

  • their site,
  • the community they serve, and
  • their currently available positions.

Those seeking career opportunities are able to interact with up to 100 organizations during one event.

How can Virtual Job Fair attendees contact each other?

Before and after each event, we provide all attendees with ways to make contact:

  • Event agenda – review the presenting sites’ contact information and current vacancies.
  • Networking chat room – take part in virtual conversations after the Virtual Job Fair ends.
  • Health Workforce Connector – set up a searchable clinician profile and/or search for additional vacancies.

How can sites participate?

To participate, sites must:

  • Be an NHSC or NURSE Corps-approved site in good standing.
  • Complete a Health Workforce Connector site profile.
  • Post an eligible job vacancy on the Health Workforce Connector.
  • Have access to the internet and a phone the day of the Virtual Job Fair.
  • Register for the specific Virtual Job Fair in which you intend to participate.

Do we give priority to particular hiring sites?

We may give priority to sites based on:

  • Geographic location
  • HPSA score
  • Number/types of positions available
  • Type of community served

Do we help sites prepare for the Virtual Job Fair?

Yes. Our team will work with site representatives throughout the preparation and presentation process.
