This program strengthens the nursing workforce and expands access to care by preparing undergraduate nursing students to provide high-quality patient care in traditional and nontraditional community-based settings through support for innovative educational and clinical training opportunities.
Am I eligible?
You are eligible to apply if you are:
- An accredited school of nursing as defined in section 801(2)
- A health care facility, including federally qualified health centers or nurse-managed health clinics
- A partnership of such a school and facility
Types of eligible organizations:
- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments)
- Private institutions of higher education
