What is a virtual job fair?
Our virtual job fairs are free online events that connect primary care trainees and practicing clinicians with health care facilities with job openings.
During the job fair, you can learn about medical, nursing, dental, and behavioral health job openings directly from health care facilities.
What happens during a virtual job fair?
You can move freely among booths in our virtual networking room to chat with recruiters and join other participants for conversation.
In a virtual booth, you can join site representatives to learn more about the:
- Health care facility
- Local community and population served
- Available position(s)
- Practice models
- Salary
- Benefits
There are also opportunities to learn more about Health Workforce Programs, such as the National Health Service Corps and Nurse Corps.
What should job seekers do in advance?
Before the job fair, complete a clinician profile on the Health Workforce Connector and search thousands of employment and training opportunities in underserved communities across the nation. Based on your profile, sites can follow up with you after the event.
Learn how to use the Health Workforce Connector.
What should recruiters do to participate?
To participate, your site must:
- Be a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) or Nurse Corps-approved site in good standing.
- Have an updated Health Workforce Connector profile.
- Have current and eligible job vacancies posted on the Health Workforce Connector.
- To be eligible for participation, positions must be posted at the time of registration.
How are recruiters selected?
Space is limited and registration closes when it reaches capacity. Once registered, priority considerations for a booth include:
- Health care facilities in regions with strong attendee interest
- Representation from health care facilities across the U.S. and U.S. territories
- Number and types of positions available
